Hi Rohan!!!,
Good evening from India.I'm Venkat here-Do you have any connection with famous Alvin Kallicharan-Man I'm an ardent fan of him and why not?? There was a time, when he was considered the best player of spin alongside Barry Richards, Ian and Greg Chappel and Glen Turner-By the sheer mention of Kalli, we all recollect some of his best innings on almost every ground he has played during his career-I still vividly remember one of his best test innings at Perth in 1975, the test in which Westindies beat Australia comprehensively inside 4 days(Remember, that series was a 6 test/ 6 day test !!!!) and Kalli along with Fredricks played a superb innings -Kalli scored a 100 and was hit by a Lillee short delivery neary nose bridge area-Remember that there were no restrictions on the bouncers and short balls that a bowler can bowl in an over as also no protective gear- Incidentally, Perth at that time was the fastest wicket in the world where Thomson bowled the fastest delivery of that time to Roy Fredricks.
